This policy explains how our website uses cookies and similar technologies.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, and help us understand how it is used.

Every cookie this website sets

Two, and only two. Both belong to Google Analytics 4, and both are used only for our own visitor statistics.

We also store a small setting in your browser, called analytics_optout, if you use the opt-out control below. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to us or to Google. It simply reminds your own browser not to load analytics next time.

What we do with the data

Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, how they found us, the town or city a visit came from, and the type of browser and device used. We use it to see which treatments people are interested in and to improve the site.

It does not tell us who you are. It is never combined with your clinical records, your enquiry, or anything you tell us in the clinic.

What we do not do

• No advertising or marketing cookies
• No Facebook, Google Ads or other tracking pixels
• No tracking you across other websites
• No selling or sharing your data with advertising networks
• Google Signals is switched off, which means your visit is not linked to a Google advertising profile

Who processes this data

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acting as our data processor. Analytics data may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. Google relies on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and on Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We keep analytics data for no longer than 14 months.

Why we do not show a cookie banner

UK law allows a website to use low-risk analytics like these without asking for consent first, provided we tell you clearly what we are doing and give you a genuine way to object. That is what this page is for. Because we use no advertising or tracking cookies at all, there is nothing here that needs your prior consent, and we would rather explain it once than interrupt every visit with a pop-up.

How to opt out of analytics

Use the control below. It takes effect immediately and applies to every page on this site. Turning analytics off will not affect your use of the site in any way.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's own Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser may stop some parts of this or other sites working as intended.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to us and we will acknowledge it within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, and tell you the outcome. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
